There are lots of great reasons to support us in our weekly lottery. Not only are you helping us be there for local children and families, but you could also win some fantastic prizes every week.

How would you like to win up to £1,000 every Friday? By joining the Hope House Lottery for just £1 a week that dream could be a reality. The Hope House Lottery gives away two jackpots of £1,000, as well as five runner up prizes of between £25 and £100 every Friday. That means that your chancing of winning £1,000 is 10 times better with the Hope House Lottery than with the National Lottery and it’s half the price!

Why do we run a lottery? Your £1 a week means that we can be here for those children that need us the most. As a registered charity, we need to raise over £6 million every year. That’s well over £100,000 every week to make sure we can carry on being here for all the children and families who need us.

We’re here for children who are affected by conditions so serious that they’re not expected to live longer than early adulthood.

We’re here to help them enjoy the best possible quality of life and make the most of every moment – with as much happiness and fulfilment as possible.

In fact we’re here for the whole family – throughout the lifetime of their child and often well beyond – with specialist nursing care, counselling support, empathy and understanding. We provide all of our services free of charge. But, without your support we wouldn’t be able to continue our work.

So please, join in today, and help us continue to provide this vital service in your community.

Entering our lottery is really simple. You just need to fill in the form online and we'll do the rest for you. It's that easy!

  • It only costs £1 per week to enter and is easy to play by Direct Debit
  • You have 10 times more chance of winning £1,000 with us than on the National Lottery
  • Draw takes place every Friday*
  • You will be given a lucky draw number and entered automatically into the draw every week
  • If your number comes out we post you out a cheque, so you don’t even need to check your numbers (although you can here if you want to)
  • It costs £6 million a year to run Hope House – that’s over £100,000 a week, so your entry really does make a massive difference to us.

Just one entry a week could pay towards the cost of running a support group for bereaved parents. Parents tell us it really helps to talk to people who truly understand their grief – other parents who have lost a child.

Just two entries a week could pay towards a whole day of professional Music Therapy which can help children use music to feel better and express their feelings or simply relax.

Just three entries a week could pay towards a specially trained children’s nurse to help families look after their child at home in their final hours and provide emotional and practical support to the family.

Emma Wood didn’t even know Hope House had a Lottery but joined in as soon as she found out what a great way it is to support us!

Emma is mum to Rhys, one of the children who regularly attends Hope House, and greatly appreciates the care and support we provide. She told us; “It’s a simple, affordable way for me to give to the charity. I just signed up online and they took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about it, and yet I know that I’m doing my bit.”

For Emma it’s a long term way of supporting us too. Whether it be long or short term we have various payment methods to make our Lottery work for you. She added; “I’m so time restricted that I’m not able to take part in fundraising events so this is an ideal way for me to give something back”.

Emma decided to have two lucky numbers in our Lottery which she says at under £9 is still an affordable amount each month.
